Ram Charan unveils ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ Trailer
The trailer of Kartikeya’s ‘Bedurulanka 2012’ is released today by the Global Star Ram Charan. This hilarious entertainer is going to hit the screens on August 25.
The story of the dramedy is set in a village named Bedurulanka, whose residents are deceived and emotionally coerced by a bunch of exploitative men of faith. The villagers anticipate the end of the world on December 21, 2012. The hero, whose name is Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad, doesn’t buy into the sham of ‘Yugantham’. He resists and rebels. How he teaches the antagonists a lesson is what this film, written and directed by Clax, is all about.
It is well-known that the ‘RX 100’ hero is a big fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi. The legendary actor’s real name is Kartikeya’s screen name in ‘Bedurulanka 2012’. It is fitting that Chiranjeevi’s son has unveiled the trailer.
Upon releasing the trailer, Ram Charan opined that the pairing of Kartikeya and ‘DJ Tillu’ fame Neha Shetty is quite adorable. “Going by this trailer, the story seems to have been told in an interesting manner. Ajay Ghosh’s role and appearance look apt. The music also sounded refreshing. ‘RX 100’ became a sensational hit. Kartikeya looks for novel storylines. I want this movie to be a big success,” the ‘Game Changer’ star added.
The film is rich in comedy, romance, action, and drama. The hero’s characterization has been established briefly and effectively in the trailer. Brahmam (Srikanth Iyengar) and Daniel (Auto Ram Prasad) make the villagers believe that they can prevent the Kali Yugam from coming to an end. The unquestioning faith of the villagers in this grand lie gets challenged by the protagonist. The way young Shiva, characterized by his carefree demeanor, proceeds to illuminate the unsuspecting villagers, promises an exhilarating watch.
The makers are happy that the trailer has been embraced with enthusiasm by the audience. Director Clax said that the songs that have already been released so far have impressed everyone. Mani Sharma’s music is always special.
Producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni and presenter C Yuvaraju have also cast Ajay Ghosh, Raj Kumar Basireddy, Goparaju Ramana, ‘Auto’ Ram Prasad, LB Sriram, Surabhi Prabhavathi, Kittayya, Anithanath, Divya Narni and others.
