The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and others in relation to the Delhi excise policy issue.
The chargesheet was submitted in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court following an investigation into allegations of financial impropriety relating to the policy.
In its chargesheet, the CBI claims that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was involved in a criminal conspiracy to formulate and implement the Delhi excise policy. He has been in jail for nearly three months in this case and has been ruling from there.
The Delhi exice policy for 2021-22 had been abolished. However, the CBI charges him as a conspirator in the criminal plot.
